Tranmere Again

Monday , 25 May 2015
The morning was pleasantly sunny and we opted for the Tranmere foreshore where three caches had been placed since our last visit.  Although the breeze was minimal it was enough to make us pleased to be wearing warm tops.
In addition a cache in the hills was on the agenda and this involved walking past some huge modern and very formal looking houses; lots of coloured pebbles and evenly spaced plants.

Sibling

Reminded us of a cache that was near here once.  Took Hannah TB and left new beetle TB

Pipeline

The cache reminded us of a Budgietas one that existed for a time at Risdon Road

Log Roll

Peter didn't look high enough, but Sue made the find quickly when she arrived.

Track Works

Went round in a bit of a circle partly to avoid the hillocks  created on the old track. The cache was spotted but then it took a while to open because of the stiffness of the screw.

Rolf's Letterbox

In strict terms we probably ought mark as a DNF, but it was getting into the container that was the reason for not being able to claim a find.  The instructions meant absolutely nothing to either of us.
